This ongoing series of photographic works combines carefully arranged still lifes and self stagings of the artist. Beginning in 2018, within the digital era of self presentation, the artist began to transform herself into an almost inhuman sculpture, challenging the norms on how to present herself as a woman on social media. Utilizing random objects she had at home, like food, jewelry or plastic plants, she soon created a very personal aesthetic. The works explore humanity's growing alienation from the outside world, on to an artificial world, where everyday objects become bizarre and seem to have lost their original purpose. An absurd fantasy evolves.
